Ministry Conducts Training on Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms

The Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs recently conducted a training workshop on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms aimed at strengthening community-based conflict resolution in Jubaland State.
The training brought together community elders, religious leaders, and justice actors to enhance their understanding of mediation, negotiation, and reconciliation processes.
The initiative supports the Ministry’s broader efforts to promote peaceful dispute resolution, reduce court case backlogs, and improve access to justice at the community level.
Participants welcomed the training and highlighted the importance of ADR in maintaining social cohesion and stability.
